Ice Cream in the Cupboard
After being physically assaulted by his devoted wife Carmen, her husband Pat becomes increasingly concerned about what is happening to her. Carmen and Pat are only prepared to confront the unthinkable when Carmen is unable to locate her own home one day. Carmen has early-onset Alzheimer's disease, something they had not anticipated. In the face of Carmen's diminishing mental abilities, and as the day creeps nearer when she will no longer be able to recognize her loyal husband, Pat seeks refuge in the one place where the disease cannot reach them: his memories of their life together.
