I Give My First Love to You
Takuma is diagnosed as a child with a heart condition that necessitates the attention of a cardiologist. While in the hospital, he quickly becomes friends with his doctor's young daughter Mayu. Mayu overhears her father saying one day that Takuma's condition is so serious that he won't live past the age of 20. Takuma is unaware of this, so at the age of eight, he promises to marry Mayu when they reach the age of twenty. Takuma realizes later in life that he will not be able to keep this promise and begins to distance himself from Mayu in the hopes of protecting her.
