Munich, 1923. Edward Elric has been dragged from his own world to ours for two years, leaving behind his homeland, his friends, and his younger brother, Alphonse. He has been researching rocketry with Alphonse Heiderich, a young man who resembles his own brother, since he was stripped of his alchemical skills, in the hopes of one day returning home. Edward is thrown into a series of events that can cause devastation in both realms after providing a help to a distraught gipsy girl. Meanwhile, Alphonse Elric explores the mysteries of alchemy in his own realm in order to reconnect with his older brother.
