Colin, an aspirational young American businessman, is working on a transaction with a wealthy Arab sheikh who happens to be a devoted pigeon fancier. He has attempted to purchase a prize pigeon on multiple occasions, but the owner has steadfastly refused each time. A agreement is struck between Colin and the Sheikh in an attempt to win his trust. If Colin is successful in convincing the owner of the champion pigeon to sell, the sheikh will agree to conduct business with Colin's company, and vice versa. After meeting Jos, the cantankerous owner of the pigeon, and Isabella, the pigeon's granddaughter, Colin knows that this quest is not going to be as simple as he had imagined it would be.
