Enthiran
Dr. Vasi comes up with a super-powered robot named Chitti in his own image. In order for a robot to be approved by a scientific group called AIRD, it must not have emotions or be able to make rational decisions. AIRD rejected the robot for these reasons. A sudden flash of lightning makes the robot feel emotions, and Chitti looks like she's ready to be a part of the real world. He then falls in love with Sana, the fiancée of Dr. Vasi, and tries to kill him.
