Dirty Pretty Things
An urban hotel in London serves as a gathering point and flashpoint for legal and illegal immigrants striving to make a new life. Senay, a Turkish woman, and Okwe, a Nigerian doctor who works as a night porter at the hotel, are among the immigrants. The couple learns that the hotel serves as a front for a variety of illegal operations. The only thing they want is to avoid deportation. When Okwe is called to fix a toilet in one of the rooms, he becomes more involved in the situation. He discovers that a human heart has clogged the pipes.
