Ryan Rottman plays a chef whose professional life is thrown into disarray when an altercation with a well-known food critic goes viral on the internet. Dave is forced to take a teaching post at his friend's culinary arts school after being banned by the elite restaurants in the area. During the course of her career, cardiologist Dr. Nina Kirby (Maya Stojan) learns that if she can bring Dave on board to teach the Healthy Living seminars, she will be a shoo-in for the job of Chief of Cardiology at her local hospital. But Nina doesn't know how to cook and doesn't want to learn. That is the only problem. Nina (Tanya Chisholm) decides to take Dave's class after some persuasion from her closest friend and coworker, Olivia (Tanya Chisholm). The Healthy Living seminars are presented to Dave, who is uninterested in working with Nina because she does not participate in the classes. Nina and Dave come uncover some surprising common ground while trying to persuade Dave to join the team.
