Day of the Stranger
With a loose adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novella "The Mysterious Stranger," "Day of the Stranger" continues the 1970s acid western tradition. Caine Farrowood is a bounty hunter that works for Loomweather, a violent kingpin. Unexpectedly, a bounty hunt for Caine goes horribly wrong, and he's left for dead as a result. To his surprise, his wife Christina welcomes him home just as he is about to give up hope that his life would ever be the same again. Caine is determined to figure out how he came home, but he soon finds himself embroiled in the pursuit of yet another prize. Caine's sanity may be at jeopardy as he is faced against a person who could be the fallen angel himself. This is a big one.
