Dauntless: The Battle of Midway

By June 1942, the Japanese Navy had surged throughout the Pacific. A US carrier group is stationed off the coast of Midway in an attempt to influence the direction of the war by springing a trap on the enemy. The two-man crew of a US Navy dive bomber is forced to ditch in the sea during this key fight. Set adrift, the soldiers seek to their friends for help, specifically the scrappy crew of a PBY Catalina dispatched to hunt for survivors. With days passing and the hope of rescue receding, the men are forced to confront their own death in the immense openness of the Pacific.
