Confession of Murder
A family member of a victim throws himself off the building in front of Choi Hyeong-goo, the investigator in charge of the investigation, on the day the 15-year statute of limitations on a high-profile serial murder case that claimed the lives of ten women expired. Two years later, Lee Doo-seok publishes "I Am the Murderer," a book in which he claims responsibility for the 17-year-old killings. Because of the author's attractive appearance and detailed portrayal of the crime, his book becomes a hit. On a television discussion show, the detective and the self-professed murderer square off. Detective Choi renews his pursuit for the ultimate truth, believing Lee is nothing more than a scam artist. Then, out of nowhere, another man appears, claiming to be the real killer.
