Collision Course
A straightlaced Japanese police officer named Inspector Fuji will be working with Detroit cop Tony Costas. Costas is an unpleasant, sexist, and racist Detroit cop who has long since ceased following the laws and has been told that he will have to work with him. Fuji is in Detroit looking for a Japanese engineer who has traveled to the United States with ideas for a top-secret automobile component. Inevitably, the two find themselves at odds with one another early on in the investigation. But as the investigation progresses, they come closer to tolerating one other's presence.
