Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky
In Paris in 1913. Despite her admiration for Boy Capel, Coco Chanel is compelled by her work. Performing Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring is scheduled for the near future. Igor's revolutionary dissonances mirror Coco's revolutionary views. To put it another way, she wants to make women's fashion more accessible and she wants to make music more appealing. The Rite's first performance is attended by Coco, who wears a stylish white outfit to make a fashion statement. Critics complain that the music and choreography are out of date and unrecognizable. A heartbroken Igor cannot be comforted by Coco's reaction to the news.
