Citadel
The plot of Citadel follows the life of Tommy Cowley, a widower and single father who has suffered from chronic agoraphobia ever since the day his wife was brutally murdered. He was powerless to shield her from harm. The worst council estate in the world is where he calls home; Edenstown. In this place, he finds himself at the mercy of a group of wild children wielding syringes and intent on kidnapping his infant daughter. They torment him. Tommy discovers the terrifying reality about these children in hoods with the assistance of a good Nurse and a rogue Priest. In addition to this, he realizes that in order to be free of his phobias, he must ultimately confront the demons of his past and venture into the location that terrifies him the most: the abandoned tower block that is commonly referred to as the Citadel.
