At the request of her egotistical ex-travel boyfriend's show, Diane McCarthy (Leah Pipes) is a reality television producer. Due to a storm approaching, Diane gets into an accident while travelling to her next task. In the distance, she notices the Forest Cove B&B. Helen (Lindsay Wagner), the owner, offers Diane a complimentary accommodation until her car is ready. Accepting Helen's offer of sanctuary, Diane meets Helen's son, Andy, who is an attractive and charming young man (Rick Malambri). For the next episode, Diane abandons her plans to focus on Forest Cove in favor of Forest Cove. Her enthusiasm for the show has her believing it will bring in much needed revenue. It's not going over well with Andy, who's getting ready to list his troubled property. They form a friendship despite Andy's reservations about it. But when Jared, Diane's ex-husband and the show's host, shows up, things get messy.
