After the terrible things that happened in New York with The Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, is living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to get used to the modern world. But when a fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is attacked, Steve gets caught up in a web of secrets that puts the world in danger. Captain America and the Black Widow work together to try to find out what's going on while fighting off professional killers sent to kill him at every turn. When the bad guys' plan is revealed in its entirety, Captain America and the Black Widow ask the Falcon for help. But soon, they find themselves facing the Winter Soldier, an enemy they didn't expect and who is very strong.
