Barbara
It's the summer of 1980 in East Germany, and Barbara is confined to living and working as a doctor in a small provincial town as her punishment for attempting to emigrate to the West. She only has one goal in mind: to flee, and she must wait patiently for this to happen. Until her hospital supervisor, Andre, throws her off track. Are his motivations love or duty to the authorities? As the tension rises, the daily pretense and content supervision begin to take their toll.
