Liz's recent miscarriage has left Ben and Liz struggling to come to terms with their marriage. In the weeks following the incident, she resigned from her position as a nurse and Ben was laid off from his position as an accountant following a series of layoffs. Right present, relations between them are not quite cordial. Liz accepts a clandestine modeling gig for Philip, an aggressive photographer who works from his sprawling estate in the middle of nowhere to make a little more cash.
