Armadillo
ARMADILLO is an honest look at how young soldiers in war become more and more cynical and addicted to adrenaline. Mads and Daniel are in Helmand, Afghanistan, for their first mission. Their platoon is based at Camp Armadillo, which is right on the frontline in Helmand. They fight hard battles against the Taliban from there. The soldiers are there to help the people of Afghanistan, but as the fighting gets worse and operations get more dangerous, Mads, Daniel, and their friends become more cynical. This makes them less like the Afghan people and makes it harder for them to help them. Mistrust and paranoia set in, which makes people feel alone and disappointed. Armadillo is a journey into the mind of a soldier and a unique movie about the mythical story of man and war, set in Afghanistan.
