Through excerpts from Anne Frank's diary, Oscar®-winner Helen Mirren will bring the narrative to a new generation of viewers. Set designers from Milan's Piccolo Theatre will recreate her Amsterdam refuge chamber down to the last detail. If she were alive today, Anne Frank would be 90 years old. Arianna Szörenyi, Sarah Lichtstztejn-Montard, Helga Weiss, and sisters Andra and Tatiana Bucci are all Holocaust survivors, and their stories are connected with Anne. Children and grandchildren's testimonies are interspersed amongst their own.
