Pastor John (Robert Amaya) and his wife Betsy (Erin Bethea), desperate to see their church flourish, undertake the unthinkable and revamp their church's Christmas performance. Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn), the choir's elderly director, is taken aback and decides to strike. Pastor John, facing dismissal, disguises himself as an elderly man in order to bridge the generation gap, win over Mary, and lead the choir back to the church. Pastor John must learn to love the unlovable or face the downfall of his church and family as he realizes that the wounds are deeper than he initially believed.
