Aircraft Carrier Ibuki
There is a 24-hour time frame for the story. The Hateruma archipelago in the southernmost portion of Japan is suddenly occupied by 20 fishing vessels of an unknown ethnicity. Detained are members of the Japan Coast Guard. The Japanese government dispatches the Aircraft Carrier Ibuki and an escort fleet to the area in light of the precarious situation. Ryota Akitsu (Hidetoshi Nishijima) is the captain and Toshiya Niinami (Kuranosuke Sasaki) is the second-in-command of the Aircraft Carrier Ibuki. At 6:23 a.m., Japan faces a day it has never experienced before.
