An extremely dangerous virus spreads throughout Europe in the not-too-distant future, necessitating the establishment of quarantine refugee camps in the United States. A gruesome murder has been committed in the Boston camp, and policemen Delon (Natasha Henstridge) and Lemieux (Christopher Lambert) have been assigned the task of investigating the crime. The pair has only hours to stop the vicious killer before he becomes contagious and infects the entire town. They suspect the cruel killer is infected with the virus.
