A young woman believes she is recovering from routine surgery when she wakes up in a hospital. However, she soon discovers that she is locked in a mental fight with a psychiatrist who won't allow her go home unless she remembers "what occurred that night." Things take a turn for the worst when the doctor and patient work together to determine not only what horrible event Anne is trying to block out of her memory, but also who else was there, why it occurred, and why Anne's subconscious is working so hard to prevent her from talking about it.
