The suicides of teenagers in a small village appear to be the result of mass hysteria. Child molested Fred Krueger, who was burned alive by furious parents many years before, was the cause, according to Nancy Thompson, a cop's daughter. Avenging himself on the offspring of his victims, Krueger has appeared in their nightmares and claimed their lives as his own. Nancy and her lover, Glen, must concoct a plan to draw the monster out of the realm of nightmares and into the real world.........
