After a few years of treatment at a mental institution following a severe nervous breakdown, Martial gets released from the facility. When he gets home, he finds that his mother is a very busy businesswoman who runs a chain of supermarkets. She is certain that if her son is given some duties, he would be able to rediscover who he is and get back on track. Soon enough, he finds himself on a business trip to Limoges, where he is tasked with evaluating one of the company's stores in the intention of reviving the company's flagging retail operations. When he finally gets there, Martial is confronted with obligations that he never ever dreamed of having, such as having to interact with the employees of the store.
