Ning is innocently imprisoned several years after his beloved Nieh has died. Fortunately, he meets a scholar, Elder Chu Kot, in the prison who eventually assists him in escaping. Ning then meets Autumn, a young witty monk. They become friends and share an abandoned villa. They choose to stay despite the villa's horrors. Later that night, some ghosts appear and attack, and two parties fight fiercely. However, after further investigation, Ning and Autumn discover that "the ghosts" are humans in disguise who want to save their leader from imprisonment while preserving innocence. Ning discovers someone who resembles Nieh among them and believes she is the reincarnated Nieh. A true giant zombie has seen all of this and is ready to ambush...
