A Cat in the Brain
Lucio Fulci, the undisputed king of Italian horror, plays the title role in this biopic on the eponymous director, who is known for making gory horror movies. His body of work has begun to have a negative impact on his mental health, and he is tormented by the macabre scenes that his mind has dreamed up throughout the course of his career. His psychiatrist, Egon Swharz, employs a hypnotized Fulci as an avatar to carry out his own deranged fantasies in the intention of permanently destroying the master's reputation. He does this in the hopes of destroying Fulci's reputation.
