A family film about two children whose dog has been kidnapped by their father's lover. Glenn Barrows, a recent widower doing his best to raise his young children Elliot and Phoebe, who miss their mother, is played by Dean Cain. When the Barrows adopt a lovely puppy named Belle over the holidays, things start to look up. Glenn's dog-hating, gold-digging new girlfriend ruins their newfound happiness by sending Belle away just as the healing process appears to be beginning. Will the young children succeed in rescuing their new pet on Christmas Eve?
